A few updates.

Monday, November 6, 2006 - 11:37 PM
[Update by Frog]

New pic and quote coming at you this week. Sorry I forgot to update the quote last week. Well, I didn't actually forget. I was too unmotivated to do it for several days, and then when I finally did have the motivation, it was Wednesday, so I just skipped it. The picture is very fresh, but the quote is from fairly deep in the archives.

I also updated the old site guide and renamed it About Frog-Man.net. It's pretty much the same, except the website's timeline/mission statement/whatever has been updated with additional information and a lot more sap.

That's really all I have to say to you at this time.

Updates, changes and whatnot.

Monday, October 23, 2006 - 11:53 PM
[Update by Frog]

All right, I owe you guys a pic and a quote pretty badly at this point. I haven't been doing so well at this whole updating the website thing lately. I don't have much of an excuse aside from malaise and discouragement at...well, nothing in particular, but everything at once, seems like. So, I'm sorry about the slacking. There is both a new pic and a new quote this week.

Hang on, I think I heard gunshots outside. If you haven't heard, there are some people going around shooting randomly into buildings in Cape. I'm gonna turn the lights off and grab my machete, since it's going to do me a lot of good against several people with guns.

In other website-related business, assuming you even read it, I'm abandoning the weblog. I'm still going to do the actual writing (maybe one or two people out there just breathed sighs of relief...maybe), but I'm just going to put the entries here on the homepage (several hats just thrown to the ground in disgust) and then put them in some homemade archive whenever the news goes to its archive. The reason for this is that I'm sick of dealing with these shitty third-party blogging services that are always down or always just generally lacking in something I can't really put my finger on. On top of that, I have my own website here, so why the hell am I putting the blog on some other website? I don't really know why I did that in the first place. Also, if you've checked the weblog recently, you'll see the bots have found it. I guess there is NO refuge, NO sanctuary from these abominations. This will of course eliminate the ability to comment on the entries, but nobody really does that, anyway, so I guess that's no big deal.

I guess I don't have anything else to report at this time.

Weblog.

Friday, October 20, 2006 - 1:02 AM
[Update by Frog]

Yup, here it is, the weblog entry. Now I'm gonna go try to sleep. Goodnight.

And here it is.

Tuesday, October 10, 2006 - 10:45 PM
[Update by Frog]

The weblog entry, that is. Enjoy.

SUPER SPECIAL: Double quote update and first ever animated POTEOW!

Monday, October 9, 2006 - 10:36 PM
[Update by Frog]

I think this is also the first time I've ever used the acronym "POTEOW" to reference "Pic of the Every Other Week." But hey, this is the internet--it was bound to happen eventually. Say it like you'd say "rodeo," except with a P at the beginning. Man, that's lame.

Anyhow, the quotes go together, so I went ahead and posted both of them at the same time. The animated picture is made of two consecutive pictures taken on my digital camera that were pretty much identical, but one was at a slightly higher angle than the other, so quickly cycling back and forth between them created an amusing head-bobbing effect. The thumbnail is actually of higher quality than the big version, since I had to maintain a sensible file size on the big one, so pick your poison.

A weblog will probably be up tomorrow or Wednesday.

I told the truth! I did a weblog entry today!

Tuesday, October 3, 2006 - 9:29 PM
[Update by Frog]

Somewhat lacking in material. Although, it ended up being a little longer than anticipated. Won't you take a look?

I'll be a part of the workforce again next time I come to you. See you then.

New quote, nothing else.

Monday, October 2, 2006 - 11:45 PM
[Update by Frog]

The new quote is unfortunately all I have to report at this time. I will probably do a weblog tomorrow, then possibly another one after I start the new job, if it is eventful enough.

Dodgeball still needs your help! Turnout was somewhat better last week in that dodgeball actually happened, but we have to keep people coming.

Oh, and go Cards.

Hm, oh boy, another new weblog entry.

Thursday, September 28, 2006 - 12:11 AM
[Update by Frog]

I guess you can check it out, if you'd like.

That's really all I have to say. I'm gonna go eat some Corn Pops now.

Hooray a website update!

Tuesday, September 26, 2006 - 12:36 AM
[Update by Frog]

Goodness, the days go by fast. I'm even bored and time is still flying by. That's not supposed to be.

Anyhow, here is a pic and quote update. I know MT just had one not too long ago, but I particularly enjoyed this one, so I didn't waste any time putting it up.

New weblog entry will be available later this week. Until then, keep fighting the good fight in whatever it is you do.

Exciting news in this week's weblog entry!

Thursday, September 21, 2006 - 12:40 AM
[Update by Frog]

You can read all about my busy and exciting week in the newest weblog entry. Y'know...if you're sick and into that sort of thing, anyway.

Prediction of new weblog entry this week proves true.

Thursday, September 14, 2006 - 12:13 AM
[Update by Frog]

And here it is, the new entry. A variety of subjects are discussed. Good ones!

Just a simple quote update.

Sunday, September 10, 2006 - 11:30 PM
[Update by Frog]

Not really too much to report, save for this week's new quotation. You can probably expect a new blog entry at some point this week, but not just yet.

That's all for now. See you soon.

Special Labor Day Pic and Quote update!

Monday, September 4, 2006 - 3:52 PM
[Update by Frog]

This update isn't actually special, since I was going to make it anyway regardless of whether or not it is currently Labor Day. Happy Labor Day, by the way.

I will probably do a new blog entry today or tomorrow, as well. It is time.

Also, football season starts this week. As always, I wish the best of luck to my Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns, and grim misfortune upon the New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, Green Bay Packers, Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, and New England Patriots. I think the number of teams I hate in the NFL grows with each passing season. Oh well.

New quote and new list now available.

Monday, August 28, 2006 - 11:59 PM
[Update by Frog]

Sorry about the lateness of the quote. I would have had it up earlier, but I figured it would be more prudent to just make both of these updates at once.

Baseball fans should hopefully get a kick out of the new list. It's a ranking of Major League Baseball teams based on how much I like them, and gives the reasons for why I feel the way I do about them. It's probably a little boring at first, but once you get down to the teams I hate, things get a lot more fun. Enjoy!

New weblog entry!

Saturday, August 26, 2006 - 11:58 PM
[Update by Frog]

This entry was sort of unexpected, mostly because it was inspired by events that transpired just last night (and the other times they've transpired). I don't really know why I was inspired to write about this. Some good lines popped into my head, and I decided to go for it. I guess this is really less of a recap of my doings and more of a creative piece.

[Addendum to the blog entry: Upon being ask about the nature of this entry by a few people, I felt I should address it more clearly. First off, don't worry about me. I'm not pining after some girl or depressed or upset or anything like that. This is not a cry for help, or something I wrote as a result of a frantic need for a girlfriend, or anything like that. Perhaps that may have been the case some time ago, but I've overcome that. It's pointless to always be "looking" for a significant other. I've come to the realization over time and through talking to people that constantly "looking" is a sign of desperation and immaturity, and is sort of unrealistic. If it happens, it'll happen on its own accord. This was more or less just an observational piece on the dream girl, this recurring entity in my dreams that continues to intrigue me because, though she is not real, she is in fact powerful enough to influence my life outside of my dreams--at least for a day or so, anyway. I want her, but she pisses me off so much because of all the reasons I detailed in the entry. Her appearance typically results in an interesting situation, in my opinion.]

Big update! New pic, quote, and blog entry!

Monday, August 21, 2006 - 4:20 PM
[Update by Frog]

This week's pic and quote go together and come to you through a bizarre coincidence in two people's attire one evening. The picture came shortly after the quotation, and the rest is history.

The blog has a few end of summer thoughts and whatever else.

If anyone is interested in attending our softball playoff game, I'll get that info up as I get it. It will probably be on Friday, so I don't know if anyone would want to come or not.

I will try to make another site update later this week, as well.

New quote.

Monday, August 14, 2006 - 1:12 PM
[Update by Frog]

That's all, really.

Bandwidth oppression bested...new pic and quote, at last!

Monday, August 7, 2006 - 4:12 AM
[Update by Frog]

Also, new big-ass obnoxious Summer Slam 2006 advertisement, to annoy those of you not already attending into showing up on Saturday. Really I just wanted to rip off the old WWF Summerslam logo. I do hope they don't sue me. We hope to see you there on Saturday.

Also, new pic and quote, of course. The quote is from just the other day, but I couldn't resist using it immediately.

Because it was time.

Friday, August 4, 2006 - 4:12 AM
[Update by Frog]

An all new, very deep and personal weblog entry is now available for viewing. Sorry, no new pic and quote this week--the bandwidth issue from earlier in the week sort of threw things off. New pic and quote coming late this weekend, as is typical.

Speaking of the bandwidth issue, if you go to the downloads page and try to check out the puking .gif, you'll see the image that took its place. I altered something Suzanne sent me one time that is supposed to be entertaining, but hopefully gets my point across.

Just a quote....

Monday, July 24, 2006 - 12:40 AM
[Update by Frog]

The quote is also not very seasonal, but hey, at least it's up at a decent hour this week. I'll most likely do a blog sometime in the next day or so.

New Wells defeated Jackson 2 on Wednesday by the score of 15-2 in five innings, but lost to Crosstown on Sunday 11-6. The loss snapped a 3-game winning streak. Over the course of the two games, I had four hits, including a triple, and drove in three runs, so I felt pretty good. We play Jackson 1 late on Friday. After that, we have early Sunday games the next two weeks, so those are probably your best bets if you have any interest at all in seeing a game this season.

Frog-Man.net staff bios have received a much-needed update.

Wednesday, July 19, 2006 - 3:58 AM
[Update by Frog]

While the bios don't really have a great deal of relevance to the site anymore, considering the frog-man.net staff is more of a ghost regime these days than anything else, they were extremely dated and were thus, after years of negligence, given the proper treatment. Just another part of my master plan....

Also, for you nostalgia nuts out there, news was archived through June of this year, and a 2005 News Archive page was added. I don't know why I committed myself to news archival so friggin' late at night, but I did it, and now I'm not getting to bed until after 4:00 AM again. Oh well.

Argh...new pic and quote, plus apologies for lateness!

Tuesday, July 18, 2006 - 12:47 AM
[Update by Frog]

I keep getting distracted or caught up in things I'm not expecting. As such, here is your new pic and quote, approximately one day late. My apologies for the tardiness.

Will there be more updates this week, or has my streak of productivity expired? Stay tuned....

The Productivity Entry.

Wednesday, July 12, 2006 - 10:50 PM
[Update by Frog]

Because I feel like I have to be doing something worthwhile right now or I'll go nuts, here's a weblog entry for you. A little something for everyone in this one.

Why I love the MLB All-Star Game.

Tuesday, July 11, 2006 - 3:15 AM
[Update by Frog]

It has been a productive day! I updated the quote earlier, I finished a comic strip (finally), and I was so bored tonight that I actually wrote a Nameless Rant, lo and behold, on why I love Major League Baseball's Midsummer Classic. Hopefully all of my strange reasons for liking it make sense. Even if you're not a sports fan you might find a thing or two in here you'll appreciate. Enjoy!

It's that time again....

Monday, July 10, 2006 - 2:22 PM
[Update by Frog]

It's time for your weekly quote. This week's quote is another gem from Brett's mom. Hope you enjoy it.

New Wells scraped together another 1-run victory in the bottom of the 7th inning Friday night, edging Trinity, Altenburg by the score of 11-10. Even though I tried as hard as I possibly could to make us lose on numerous occasions throughout the game, yours truly ended up scoring the tying run on the base hit that also drove in the winning run. We play Jackson 2 this Friday, and there's really no reason we shouldn't be able to beat them, as well.

The insomnia update.

Monday, July 3, 2006 - 6:15 AM
[Update by Frog]

I couldn't sleep. So instead I updated the pic and quote. I almost forgot I had the pic, but I'm glad I found it. And I don't know if you'll like the quote or not, but I thought it was (and still is) genius.

I also did a new weblog entry, mostly because I want to step up the frequency of new entries again, but also because I couldn't sleep and had some stuff on my mind that I needed to get out in some form or another.

New Wells stunned Friedheim with a 7-6 comeback victory on Friday. We were down 5-0 going into the bottom of the 6th, tied it, they scored one more in the top of the 7th, but then we scored two in the bottom of the 7th to win it. Rumor had it some guy on Friedheim would kiss another guy's ass if we won, so I hope that happened.

It looks like I have some more work to do now. Perhaps it's best that I wasn't able to sleep.

Falling behind....

Tuesday, June 27, 2006 - 2:27 AM
[Update by Frog]

Ugh...I didn't get anything done last week, which is exactly what I didn't want to do!

Now then, there is a new quote this week, as always. Simple, brief, but effective. There is also a new weblog entry, which I was asked to do a couple of weeks ago, meant to do last week, and just now finished nary a few moments ago.

And that's all I have to report at this time. Enjoy.

Please enjoy this week's pic and quote.

Monday, June 19, 2006 - 10:40 PM
[Update by Frog]

I've got a lot of money riding on you guys liking this week's new pic and quote, so for my sake you better enjoy them.

There will hopefully be at least one, but possibly two additional updates this week, so stay tuned.

With a 17-4 loss to Apple Creek on Friday, New Wells is officially halfway through the season. I'm somewhat interested in seeing where things go from here.

New quote, but not much else just yet.

Monday, June 12, 2006 - 1:40 PM
[Update by Frog]

The quote is new and golden, and you know it. Enjoy.

I will attempt to at least do a weblog entry this week, since it's been a couple of weeks already since the last one. Sheesh.

New Wells dropped two games this week, losing 24-5 to Frohna and 11-0 to Crosstown. I didn't have a hit in either, but got to pitch in the Frohna game and gave up 6 runs in three innings, struck out two and walked one, which is a major improvement over the other times I've pitched in my career.

Updated pic and quote!

Monday, June 5, 2006 - 6:05 PM
[Update by Frog]

Have a new pic and quote, you insatiable monsters!

Kidding. Hope you enjoy them. I must have been in something of a football mood, because the quote is about football, and the pic took place after the Super Bowl party. Or perhaps it was just a sick coincidence.

We lost to Trinity 7-1 last night. I did not get a hit, but was on base twice, once on a walk, and once because I was hit by a pitch, which hurt like hell. Our next game is Wednesday at probably around 8:30 at Altenburg against Frohna. I heard Ricky wanted to go.

New content!

Friday, June 2, 2006 - 2:05 AM
[Update by Frog]

I added a new section to the site that will hopefully see some more action in the near future--introducing the Lists page. Pretty self-explanatory, really. I make lists, sometimes on paper, sometimes in my head, and sometimes they are lists that I like to share. The first one actually isn't along those lines, necessarily, but is still a list I've been asked to share, and hopefully it is an entertaining one, at that. Enjoy.

Had job interview today. Went well, will give updates as I get them. Goodnight.

A little update.

Tuesday, May 30, 2006 - 4:46 PM
[Update by Frog]

There is a new quote, first of all. Secondly, the major rejuvenation of this website is officially on with a revamped links page, which desperately needed a thorough cleaning and updating. The actual number of links present on the links page is still pretty scarce, however, so that will be dealt with in the coming days. Suggestions for links are also welcome.

If for some odd reason you need to email me via my website email address, it is now listed in one place at the bottom of the staff box on the right hand side of your screen. I eliminated the email links in each of the individual news updates because I think this might help control the amount of junk mail I receive. Then again, it might not. We'll see.

I was also going to do a blog entry today, but the last job I applied for called me back and requested I fill out an extremely long application-thing online. I also screwed it up two times part of the way through, and each time I had to start all the way over. Anyway, that ended up taking up most of my afternoon. So...new blog tomorrow or Thursday, most likely.

Quick pic and quote update.

Monday, May 22, 2006 - 8:57 PM
[Update by Frog]

People are on their way to my house right now, so I'll make this short and sweet. There's a new pic and a new quote. Both are hilarious, in my opinion. Enjoy them, but fear not, for they won't be your last.

Also, we lost to Immanuel Altenburg 24-2 last night. Welp, see ya next update!

New weblog entry.

Thursday, May 18, 2006 - 2:05 AM
[Update by Frog]

I did some kind of weblog entry, but it was really hard because I couldn't remember what I used to talk about in weblog entries, so I just did the best I could.

I think I'm going to switch weblogs again soon, mostly because of the comment problems with this one, and also Bloghorn's sheer instability is sort of getting to me. I need something more reliable in a blog.

New Wells defeated Jackson 1 via forfeit yesterday evening due to lack of players due to St. Paul graduation. Hooray...I guess. And hooray for a 2-game winning streak*.

*Even though we technically didn't play the second game. Nevertheless, I'm supersticious and NOT washing my uniform this week.

This week's quote is in honor of my college graduation.

Monday, May 15, 2006 - 7:42 PM
[Update by Frog]

Look, I'm allowed to revel in my college graduation at least for a little while, so I will be taking my opportunity to do so now. Regarding today's quote, when we went out to lunch after the convocation, my dad told me what the guy said, and I pretty much lost it. I imagine it must have been some professor or somebody school-related, since I always tried to talk as little as possible in those parts. But now I don't have to worry about it anymore, since I graduated. From college.

Well, now that I've graduated from college, I might have more time to work on stuff around here. And with any luck there won't be any gross slowdowns when summer ends, since I never have to go back to school. Y'know, since I graduated and all.

Apologies for the lateness of this update. I would have done it this weekend, but I was graduating from college, so the update was delayed.

I hope I'm not jinxing myself with all this blatantly gratuitous talk of college graduation, since I still haven't heard whether or not I actually passed Southern Literature. I'm fairly confident, though.

College graduation.

Special No Budget-themed pic and quote update!

Monday, May 8, 2006 - 10:11 PM
[Update by Frog]

This week's pic and quote are both from our (mostly unsuccessful) filming escapades at Port Cape a week ago, or however long it's been. Fortunately we did come away with some comic gold! Eh? EH?! I got nothin'.

Also, this update would have been up last night, but I got in pretty late from my softball game. After several hours of intense softball combat, New Wells defeated Jackson 2 in a game that left the Altenburg ballpark in charred, smoking ruins and littered with battered corpses and twisted bits of shrapnel from shattered and fragmented aluminum bats. The final score was a catastrophic 25-17, and I don't think there will ever be a game quite like it again.

New quote.

Monday, May 1, 2006 - 1:13 AM
[Update by Frog]

This week's quote is in honor of our friend Jordan Nelson, who will be leaving on Wednesday to work at Signal Lodge at Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming for the next five months. Have a good time controlling the bears, Jordan! I'll miss you.

Compensation for my screw-ups last week.

Sunday, April 23, 2006 - 6:40 PM
[Update by Frog]

Yeah, I know; I goofed last week in not putting up a new pic and quote. It got to be around Wednesday and I hadn't done it yet, and usually if it gets that late in the week I end up skipping it. It was a busy beginning of the week for me, but that's really no excuse.

Thus, in order to make up for my incompetence last week, you get a Pic of the Every Other Week 2-pack this week. Luckily there were a couple of funny pictures that went together, and now you will get to enjoy them as well. Also, new quote. Hooray.

Also, Katie requested I add a New Wells softball schedule to the page, and I did so below the staff listing on the right of your screen. We already lost our season opener 10-0 to 2005 league champions Friedheim, but I think we're definitely a better team than we were last season, a lot of guys are coming back from injuries, and we're generally optimistic. So, come check us out.

That's all for now!

In this very special update, Brian posts a new quote and weblog entry!

Monday, April 10, 2006 - 1:15 AM
[Update by Frog]

Yes, after failing miserably to write new weblog entries for a few weeks, there is finally some new reading material around here. Enjoy yourselves. Also, there's an all new, totally crazy quote that you might also find to be somewhat interesting.

That's really all I have to report at this time. Kifelterfish!

I found this pic and quote under a bridge on the other side of town.

Sunday, April 2, 2006 - 10:50 PM
[Update by Frog]

They really are splendid finds, as far as I'm concerned. You may need to zoom in on the picture to read everything in the event your browser automatically sizes it down, but hopefully it's not doing that.

Baseball season started tonight. As always, I wish the best of luck to the St. Louis Cardinals, and grim misfortune upon the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves, New York Mets, Houston Astros, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, and San Francisco Giants. Also, on Barry Bonds as an individual. Let's throw Lance Berkman in there, too. Just for the hell of it.

Also, apologies for the lack of an April Fool's gag this year. There's just been too much going on lately and I didn't even think about it until it was much too late.

I have a new quote for you, but not much else.

Sunday, March 26, 2006 - 8:28 PM
[Update by Frog]

Man, was it ever a crazy week, which is why there was no new blog entry. I can probably write a new one later this week, however. Give me until Tuesday night or so--big presentation due that I will be working on until then. Once that's out of the way, I have just one (1) big homework assignment left all semester, not counting internship stuff. Neat, eh?

Anyway, until then, please enjoy this week's quote. Is it true, you ask? Wouldn't you like to know....

Because people were wondering if the site would EVER be updated again....

Sunday, March 19, 2006 - 11:15 PM
[Update by Frog]

At last, here is a new pic and quote. Sorry about the no update last weekend--things got a little out of hand, and it was more than halfway to this weekend by the time I got around to having enough spare time to make an update to the site.

Also, it should be noted that there is still Friday night dodgeball this week at 8:00 PM, as always, though I don't know how much playing will be done.

That's all. See you soon with a blog.

All I have for you is a quote.

Monday, March 6, 2006 - 12:40 AM
[Update by Frog]

I was gonna do a weblog tonight, but I didn't get around to it. All in all, it was a pretty productive evening though, if that means anything to you.

I gotta get to work on some other stuff before bedtime. I can probably get a blog done tomorrow night, sometime.

There are two things in life I hate, and new pics and quotes are neither of them.

Monday, February 27, 2006 - 12:35 AM
[Update by Frog]

You know, for only taking 6 hours this semester, I'm a little confused as to how I don't have time to make more updates to this site than the typical weekend updates. I'm losing like 8 hours a day somewhere, and I can't figure out how or why.

Well, despite that, here's your pic and quote update for the week, and I hope to be back with a weblog tomorrow night, perhaps.

Some updates and whatnot.

Monday, February 20, 2006 - 2:03 AM
[Update by Frog]

First of all, I was informed that not everyone can see the current pic, that it was appearing pixellated to some. Well, I'm something of an idiot, so I probably did that while resizing it and whatnot in preparation for putting it on the site. I think I may have fixed it, but I don't really know. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

There's a new quote that has been a long time coming.

There's also a new weblog entry. Now I think I'm gonna go to bed.

I can't think of a single clever way to tell you that there's a new pic and quote.

Sunday, February 12, 2006 - 3:10 PM
[Update by Frog]

I apologize. I seem to be losing my...my...whatever it is that helps me come up with the sayings I use in the updates every week.

Greesh provided the pic this week. I laughed for almost an entire minute, which doesn't happen too frequently, so I figured it was probably worthy. Meanwhile, our mothers, of all people, continue to dominate the recent quote selections.

That is all for now.

Feast your eyes on the latest quote!

Monday, February 6, 2006 - 12:32 AM
[Update by Frog]

Do it now, or the evil Bucho will shut down the ninos' orphanage. Fight, Star Man, for the children!

Oh, and it looks like the weblog finally got that much-needed update. Sorry about that.

This update is all the new pic and quote's fault!

Sunday, January 29, 2006 - 11:50 PM
[Update by Frog]

Well, I can offer you a clever quotation and a picture of another clever quotation in this exciting installment of "Update frog-man.net as Little as Possible." On the plus side, some pretty interesting stuff has happened in the past few days that is all very blog-worthy and might also give me more opportunities to work on the site. Mr. Big is pleased.

All I have for you is a quote this time around....

Sunday, January 22, 2006 - 10:58 PM
[Update by Frog]

Still working on getting a new blog entry up. Maybe tomorrow night I'll have time to do that. Until then, enjoy this quote. It's a Ricky.

You know, the new colors do make my complexion look a little better....

Sunday, January 15, 2006 - 8:45 PM
[Update by Frog]

I am, of course, referring to the little sprite version of me that appears above every update. That has nothing to do with this update, but it is something I just noticed, so I figured I'd point it out. On that note, I need another version of it that doesn't have the Eagles or Cardinals logo on it to fill the 2-month dead period between the end of football and the beginning of baseball. (Well, regular season baseball, that is.)

Anyway, that is beside the point. Today's update features a new pic and quote that are sure to tickle your funny bone.

Hm...looks like I really need to update that weblog, too. With school starting here in a couple of days, I'm sure I'll have plenty to bitch about shortly.

'Ello...what's all this, then?

Monday, January 9, 2006 - 7:45 PM
[Update by Frog]

Well, it seems as though you have stumbled upon the slightly revamped site design, which I've been trying to finish for like two weeks now, but the break has been pretty busy. Why a site redesign, you ask? Well, to be honest, I was getting a little sick of the discoloration between the menus and the news posts/content. That might have been okay in 2003 or whenever, but by today's standards it was just unprofessional. (Also, admittedly there's still some mild discoloration, but if you're not looking for it you won't notice it.) Also, these boxes are curvy and prettier than the old ones. A little brighter, too, which is hopefully not a bad thing. Also, the old design was just poorly constructed, and as a result I had some problems making it show up correctly in different browsers. Hopefully that has been fixed now.

If you notice any problems with the new design, please let me know. Thanks, and I hope you like the new look.

Oh, and I updated the quote for good measure. New pic and quote coming this weekend.

First site update from my new house.

Sorry, it's just exciting, is all.

I archived the old news and did a blog entry to tide you over until the next update, which is hopefully not too far off.
