Frog
| Lucas
| Carol
Name:
Frog (answers to Brian, Brain, BT, Frog, Frog-Man, Froggy,
and other variants)
Position: Site Administrator; Head Writer
What he does here: As site administrator,
Brain manages news updates, site design, and pretty much all
the technical and behind-the-scenes crap involved with the
site except whatever it is that Carol does. As head writer,
he provides (somewhat) quality entertainment in the form of
this site’s meager content. Updates are not too frequent
on account of Brian’s tremendous laziness, and often
come in streaks. Overall, it appears as if Brian runs the
site, but in reality sinister and dangerous forces are at
work in the background that remain shrouded in mystery thanks
to a bizarre cover up. That you know nothing about.
POWER STATS (on a scale of 1 to 10)
Strength: 5. Perhaps deceptively strong physically.
However, Brian doesn’t realize his own strength, thus
never unlocking its full potential. Mentally, he’s a
pushover.
Perception: 8. Frog is extremely observant
of his surroundings. When he enters an area, he takes in his
surroundings for a moment or two, noting people in the vicinity,
flaws, possible escape routes, etc. May be partially due to
his obsessive-compulsive nature or the 20/15 vision his right
eye gains when wearing his contacts. This oddity is affectionately
referred to as a Super Eye (© Frog's brother).
Endurance: 6. Brian's physical endurance
based on bodily exertion is fairly average, but getting better.
Unfortunately, he sometimes doesn’t work out for a week
and then has to start all over. What a bummer. However, his
environmental endurance is more impressive, as he dresses
lightly no matter what the temperature is. (The lowest recorded
temperature at which Frog wore shorts is currently -1 degrees
Fahrenheit. However, this ability is starting to fade due
to wardrobe boredom and being somewhat less fat.) He also
never gets sick. Ever. Except for the stomach flu every now
and then.
Charisma: 7. Frog doesn't talk much, but
is a very nice guy and has an uncanny ability to make friends
with ease. He assumes this is based on his friendliness, frequent
good moods, wide array of interests, and his indeterminate,
non-threatening style. In fact, he’s the most non-threatening
boy you’ll ever meet.
Agility: 5. Frog avoids dodgeballs fairly
well, if that can be used as a measurement of agility. His
upper body is quite nimble, but he can’t move his legs
too well at all.
Intelligence: 8. Frog prides himself for
his intelligence, wit, intuition, whatever. Because he is
constantly plotting and scheming, he has good puzzle and problem
solving skills, and can often work his way out of tight spots,
crises, and pickles by planning an elaborate scheme of some
sort. He knows an inordinate amount of trivia. Has a memory
like a steel trap, too. He might act dumb and pretend like
he doesn’t remember something, but chances are pretty
good that he does. Has tons of booksmarts, but will probably
die now that he is out of school and thus, out of his element.
Doesn’t have much practical knowledge at all.
Luck: 3. Frog's luck is quite impaired. If
things seem to be going even slightly well for him, it is
very likely something will happen to counteract a string of
good luck. Even the slightest amount of bad luck can and will
derail long periods of good luck.
Career plans: Brian is a 2006 graduate of
SEMO with a degree in English (writing) and a minor in Small
Press Publishing. He plans to become a writer and particularly
wishes to write…well, he’ll pretty much write
anything so long as he enjoys it. He also has numerous other
plans that he hopes his writing can complement. He’s
also a skilled graphic designer, if that’s what you’re
looking for.
Interests: Frog has too many interests to
name here. He writes stories and likes to draw, especially
comic strips and the occasional comic book. He is a member
of No Budget Pictures and will gladly assist in any video
project or motion picture thrown in his direction. He is a
big football and baseball fan and will talk your ear off about
sports given the opportunity. His favorite teams are the Philadelphia
Eagles and St. Louis Cardinals. He plays softball and dodgeball
quite a bit. He likes cartoons and Seinfeld. He also plays
a lot of video games, and old games are one of his passions.
Special Skills: Supposedly, Brian is a good
writer, artist, and actor, though he doubts his ability in
the latter two fields. He's also good at video games other
than first person shooters. Brian can complain about virtually
anything. He resists cold like a pro. Is a decent dodgeball
player. Able to repel women with ease.
Additional
Info: Brian is perturbed by the fact that the other
two staff members have had an “Additional Info”
section in their bios all this time and his bio hasn’t.
But it’s very late right now and Brian is much too tired
to figure out what he would include in an “Additional
Info” section, anyway.
